Welcome to the Oakbrook Terrace Lions Club Web Site, serving Oakbrook Terrace for over 24 years. The Oakbrook Terrace Lions Club is always looking to make our club stronger by adding to our membership. If you are interested in finding out more information, please contact us so we can invite you to our next meeting, as our guest you will find out what we do and how you will fit in.
Lions International The International Association of Lions Clubs is a volunteer service organization comprised of individual clubs grouped under a worldwide organization. Although the youngest major service club organization, formed in 1917 at a meeting of a group of Chicago businessmen and brought forth by Melvin Jones, Lions Club International has grown to be the world's largest, with 1.35 million members in 46,000 clubs in 206 countries and geographical locations. The primary goal of all Lions Clubs is to participate as a group in service to the local and international communities without regard to politics, religion, race or the personal interests of the Lions members, and to create and foster a spirit of understanding and fellowship among peoples of the world. In Oakbrook Terrace, we are ordinary people doing extraordinary things.
